In a 2001 Chicago Public Radio interview, Obama discusses how the Warren Supreme Court didn't go far enough because they didn't tackle "redistribution of wealth."
I hate to say this out loud, but what am I gonna have to give up? 40 acres and a mule? SLAVERY WASN'T MY FAULT! My ancestors were poor dirt farmers! I'm sorry it happened to your forefathers, but JEEZ!

AF Blue: You are in the know.
I'm kind of feeling "blue" these days, too, but everytime I look on those liberal chat rooms I feel a little better. They are so miserable in there, it gets me thinking that we may actually have a lead in this race.
This teaching that the constitution only gives "negative" rights is basically in the mainstream in academic thinking. If you've majored in math, science, business, or some other useful field, you probably skipped it, but it's been academic cannon for years.
I just didn't realize until listening to Rush Limbaugh yesterday that everybody else in the country did not know that this thinking and teaching existed.
For instance, I know that all work (anything you do that requires movement)is considered equal to leftist thinkers. Now this sounds nice, but taken to its logical conclusion, the following could result (these are things I dreamed up):
1. An unspoken rule that bans people under college graduate age from working. Employers already set their own limits for teenagers. My last employer never hired below 16, and others in my family had trouble finding work after they graduated from high school. This means noone will be able to work though college like I did. Nice.
2. Heads of households with homemakers (male or female) will have to pay social security taxes and record any income distributed to their significant others.
3. CEO's will continue to get stupider and stupider, as the government limits salaries that they can make. CEO's are a pretty weird and eccentric bunch as it is now. Imagine what will happen when their salaries go down and the really smart ones like Steve Jobs leave their jobs.
Though this post was meant to be humorous, this is no laughing matter.
